Wendell V. Noe, Sr., 76, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, September 20th, 2007 peacefully at Lawrence Manor Healthcare Center. He was born December 27, 1930 to the late Ewing and Opal Noe in Vincennes, IN. He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy in the Korean War. He was a bolt maker/oiler at Ford Motor Company for 39 years before retiring. Wendell is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laura J. (Shonk) Noe; sons, Richard Ewing Noe, Robert Franklin Noe, Raymond Douglas Noe, Wendell V. Noe, Jr.; daughter, Threase Iline Ray; sister, Carolleen Brumback; and 13 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lee Noe; and daughter, Tanna Jean Huber.Funeral Service will be at Christians United Soldiers Memorial Chapel, 5626 Lawton Loop East Dr, Indianapolis, IN, at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 25th, with Pastor Bill Rector officiating. Visitation will start at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Fishers, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Keystone Christian Church, 2525 E. 56th St, Indianapolis or Adventa Hospice Services, 8435 Georgetown Rd, Ste 1000, Indianapolis, IN.
